Mogumogu! Kanade Shows Her Spirited Recipe-nya♪ (モグモグ! 奏が見せる気合いのレシピニャ♪ Mogumogu! Kanade ga Miseru Kiai no Reshipi nya♪?) is the 4th episode of Suite Pretty Cure♪, and also the 345th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Kanade enters a baking competition when she learns her Idol will be there. But while she tries to come up with an impressive idea for it, she gets into a dispute with Hibiki after Siren manipulates her feelings.

Kanade trying to come up with a new cupcake recipe.

In her families kitchen, Kanade busily works on making cakes. She practices making showy, attractive cakes while explaining her plans to enter an upcoming contest. She is shown to have made this cake for Hibiki to try it out, and Hibiki comments that something is missing. This causes Kanade distress but she intends on doing better.

Witnessing this, Siren saw a chance to hurt Hibiki and Kanade's friendship so that they cannot transform again. She decides to transform herself into Kanade's baking idol, Yoko Yamaguchi to get closer to Kanade. Kanade is shocked, but delighted to see her and she praises the attractiveness behind the cakes, before claiming that Hibiki's lack of criticism was because of jealousy.

Hibiki tests Kanade's cooking.

Desperate to please her idol, Kanade continues to make cakes and presents them to the other members of the Sweets Club in school the following day. While the members of the Sweets Club are impressed and amazed- Hibiki insists the taste is lacking again and refuses to praise them. She claims that she prefers Kanade's normal cakes, but recalling the words of Yoko, Kanade starts to wonder if she was telling the truth.

That evening, Kanade's mother, Misora, was tasting a cake made by her husband, Sousuke. He remarks that he made it to see her smile, and while the display temporarily makes her happy, Kanade reminds herself that a smile isn't enough to win contests.

Siren tries to seduce Kanade to change her ways.

The next day, Hibiki told Kanade that she had no reason to lie to her about her opinions, because she loves her cakes. This causes Kanade to get angry though, and she goes off to make another cake, the one Hibiki loves above all else- although she doesn't realize this. Yoko insults the strawberry cake, and told Kanade that she would be stronger without Hibiki's friendship, and this causes Kanade to become silent, unaware of how to reply. In this time, Yoko notices a music note residing in a strawberry on the cake and discards her disguise to transform back to normal and change the cake into a Negatone. Hibiki and Kanade transform into Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm and emerge to fight the cake Negatone. They struggle against its fierce attacks when Melody, who is hungry comments on how delicious it looks. Suddenly it dons on Rhythm that she only began to make cakes because of Hibiki, and because of wanting to see her smile. She didn't want to make  cakes that would win contest, but make others smile.

Hibiki unashamedly eats Kanade's destroyed cake.

With her moral and desire returned to normal, Rhythm attacked and subdued the Negatone, allowing the girls to use their finisher and rid of the Negatone. They capture the music note and Siren storms off.

Back at the Lucky Spoon, Hibiki digs into the now destroyed cake and enjoys it. She smiles and compliments it, delighting Kanade.
