Sakura Hamori (咲良はもり)? is a minor character who appears in Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪. She is Uta's younger sister.

Appearance[]
Hamori has red eyes and shoulder length brown hair, with a few strands held up into a side ponytail by a light red scrunchie. She wears a yellow ruffled top that has two pink heart-shaped buttons on the front, and orange ruffled sleeves. She also wears salmon pink shorts, white ankle length socks, and orange shoes.
Personality[]
Hamori is full of curiosity, and her hobby is going for walks with Kyutarou. She admires other people who are talented.
Relationships[]
- Sakura Uta: Her older sister. She admires her and cares about her very much.
- Sakura Kazu and Sakura Oto: Her parents.
- Aokaze Nana: Her sister's friend. She befriends her after Uta introduces her to Nana. Hamori takes an instant liking to her and admires her like her sister does.
Etymology[]
Sakura (咲良)? can have mulitple meanings, with "cherry blossom" being the most well known one[1]. However the usage of this particular kanji has a different meaning: Saku (咲)? means "bloom", while Ra (良)? means "good"[2].
Hamori (はもり)? comes from the noun, "hamoru" (ハモる)?[3], which means "to harmonize".[4]
History[]
Hamori first appears when Uta rushes back home to show them the stuffed animal that supposedly followed her home. Hamori holds the stuffed animal, and comments on it being fluffy, before heading back inside.KIPC01
When Nana is invited over to Cafe Glitter, Hamori instantly takes a liking to her. When she learns that Nana can play the piano, Hamori shows that she can play "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". After Nana has finished her cream soda, Hamori plays the piano with Nana, and is amazed when Nana plays a more complicated melody. Hamori than insists on going to the welcome event to watch Nana play the piano. On the day of the welcome event, Hamori goes on ahead of her parents, but is turned into a Makkuranda by Zakkuri. Fortunately, she is saved by Cure Idol and Cure Wink, and is able to watch the welcome event with her parents.KIPC03
Hamori visits her grandfather, Heiji with her family and sister's friends. She gets to play a lot with her sister and friends, and later helps her parents and Tanaka set up the 58th Sakura Family Karaoke Tournament to cheer Uta up.KIPC28
After noticing the crossed-out item on Cafe Glitter's old morning menu, Hamori sets off to uncover the mystery with Kyutarou. She approaches Ema and Renji for answers, before she and the girls find out that the comedian Owarai Hiroshi might have the answer, but is disappointed when he doesn't tell them. After taking the recovered Hiroshi to Cafe Glitter, Hamori is surprised that the crossed-out item is actually her father's one-liner gag, but is happy that the mystery is solved anyway.KIPC34
