Rumi is a minor character from Heartcatch Pretty Cure! and Shiku Nanami's younger sister. She is also best friends and schoolmates with Haruka.
Personality
Rumi is still in kindergarden, so she likes to imitate her sister and remain a happy child.
History
A Sad Mother's Day
While walking home from kindergarden with Nanami, Rumi noticed a girl giving a carnation to her mother, and decided to give one as an offering to her deceased mother, which the sisters buy from the Hanasaki flower shop. When they arrive home, Rumi places the carnation next to the photograph of her mother, but as her mother could not directly accept the gift nor say thank you, Rumi became very depressed and started to cry.
The next day, Nanami attempted to help Rumi cheer up, but Rumi ran away her sister. When Nanami caught her, they started shouting at each other, leaving them both in tears. After the fight, Rumi discovered that Nanami's Heart Flower had been taken by Sasorina. The little girl picked up the orb her sister was encased in, pleading that she wake up.
As the PreCures fight the Desertrian, Rumi stayed hidden with Chypre and Coffret, but heard the creature shout the feelings in Nanami's heart, and felt sorry for not realizing the pain her sister was in. After Nanami is rescued, Rumi sits with her and apologizes. HPC14
Becoming Friends with Haruka
Rumi and her classmate Haruka meet the fairies (as they did not turn into dolls). After the kindergarten teacher turned into a Desertrian, the other children fight back to rescue their teacher. As Coffret leaves from Erika, he gave the blue tact to Rumi and Haruka to play with, but the Snackey Army steals it,and trapped Rumi and Haruka. After Cure Blossom rescues them and Cure Marine uses her Blue Forte Wave with her tact, Rumi and Haruka thanked Cure Blossom, but convicted Marine to keep up with her tact, making her so jealous.HPC39
