HSPC01 Sky Land

Sky Land (スカイランド)? is a magical floating kingdom in the sky that appears in Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure. Nijigaoka Yoyo, Sora Harewataru, Yuunagi Tsubasa, and Ellee-chan originally came from Sky Land before living in Sorashido City.

History[]

Sky Land was a peaceful world, which was about to celebrate Ellee-chan's birthday. However, Kabaton appears and causes a commotion when he kidnaps Ellee-chan.HSPC01

It is later revealed by Nijigaoka Yoyo that Sky Land was saved by the original Pretty Cure, when the princess prayed for someone to save the kingdom from attacking monsters. However, the legend has long been forgotten by the current residents of Sky Land.HSPC05 Many years ago, the Undergu Empire and Sky Land had a huge conflict which became a massive war, and the two kingdoms haven't interacted until recently.HSPC16

Long ago, the Puni Bird Tribe from Sky Land traded their ability to fly for the ability to transform into humans, and they haven't been able to fly since.HSPC08

A year prior, the King and Queen received Ellee-chan, who is the Child of Destiny that will save Sky Land, from a morning star. They were originally shocked at the phenomenon, but still adopted her as their daughter afterwards.HSPC24

Sora, Mashiro, Tsubasa, and Ellee-chan later arrive in Sky Land to bring Ellee-chan back to the King and Queen. During the visit in Sky Land, Sora also gets to reunite with Captain Shalala and join the Azure Guards. HSPC14 Tsubasa also gets to reunite with his parents. However, Sky Land later gets attacked by Battamonda's giant Ranborg, which led to Captain Shalala sacrificing herself for Sora and the other Sky Landians. Unfortunately, Battamonda puts a curse on the King and Queen, causing them to fall into a coma. Sora and her friends then decide to take Ellee-chan back to Sorashido City, as Sky Land is no longer safe for her.HSPC15

Ageha and Yoyo later travel to Sky Land with Sora, Mashiro and Tsubasa to return Captain Shalala and Ellee-chan back to Sky Land. There, Ellee-chan is reunited with the King and Queen. However, while Shalala returns to lead the Azure Guards again, Ellee-chan is entrusted to the Cures by the King and Queen, who tell them about Ellee-chan's secret. After the Cures chase off the meanie cloud, the residents of Sky Land, as well as Ellee-chan and the King and Queen, watch the Pretty Cure Parade together.HSPC24

When Sky Land's Bright Jewel is missing, causing birds to be unable to fly at night, the team arrives at Sky Land to investigate. The team later discovers an untouched island far from the mainland, where the Dragon Tribe has been living. The Dragon Tribe reveal that they intend to return the jewel that they accidentally took, which was once protected by their ancestors, but they also tell the Cures that they cannot leave the island out of fear of conflicting with the people of Sky Land like their ancestors did. However, when Skearhead attacks the island, Wing encourages the dragons to fly again. Thanks to Wing, the dragons finally get to soar and leave the island for the first time, and the King and Queen accept them.HSPC38

Empress Undergu eventually arrives at Sky Land and attacks the Azure Guards. She then proceeds to easily overpower the Cures, and is about to enact her revenge on Ellee-chan, when her attack is stopped by the Majestic Chroniclon, which saves the de-transformed team. Ellee-chan, Sora and Mashiro are then transported to the past Sky Land from 300 years ago by the Majestic Chroniclon, in order to figure out what happened, where they meet Princess Elleelain. There, both Sora and Mashiro realize the real version of the legend is that Ellelain is both the princess and the Legendary Pretty Cure, Cure Noble, herself.HSPC44 Emperor Undergu would later make a truce with Ellelain to no longer attack Sky Land after witnessing how Empress Undergu was hurt when she protected him from Noble's attack.HSPC45 Unfortunately, it is later revealed that Skearhead caused Empress Undergu, who had her memories altered by him, to break off relations with Sky Land after he murdered Emperor Undergu.HSPC49

The Sky Landians are evacuated to the Sky Land's main city, and a protective barrier made of the Mirror Pad's Kira Kira Energy is established. The Cures hold a Strichmas party to uplift the spirits of the Sky Landians.HSPC46 The former generals of the Undergu Empire later arrived to assist the Azure Guards and the Sky Landians in repelling the Ranborgs, which are deployed by Empress Undergu.HSPC48 In the end, Sky Land has finally made peace with the Undergu Empire after the Cures successfully defeated Daijarg. Ellee-chan returns to Sky Land to live with the King and Queen, marking the end of the conflict.HSPC50
