Candy.shared

Candy tries to restore Miyuki's memories with cookies.

Joker traps Akane, Yayoi, Nao, and Reika inside a Sloth Ball, an illusory paradise free from worry, sadness, or pain. Miyuki volunteers to enter to rescue her friends, and Joker accepts.

Miyuki wakes up and finds herself in school with her friends, but something is strange. Akane and Nao don't bother with sports, and everyone just wants to go to a theme park. She tells her teacher, but she says she's imagining it.

Candy is worried about her friends, and volunteers to enter the Sloth Ball too. Joker accepts, knowing that Candy is key to the Royal Clock.

Back in the theme park, Miyuki's friends invite her to eat delicious sweets. She does, and gives in to the illusory happy world. Just then, Candy falls from the sky and hits her in the face. Miyuki seems to have forgotten who Candy is. To help her remember, Candy breaks a cookie into six pieces, like she did before. Miyuki suddenly remembers, and comes back to her senses. Miyuki tries to convince the others to snap out of it, but they are consumed by apathy.

Ep.32

Cure Happy uses the Happy Shower.

At Candy's suggestion, Miyuki transforms into Cure Happy and tries to use Happy Shower to purify the realm, but Joker appears and neutralizes it. Unwilling to risk fusing with a Hyper Akanbe, he uses a Yellow Nose to create an Akanbe from a cart.

The facade fades and the world changes into its true form, and the other girls are sprawled out on the ground unconscious. Candy tries to wake them up while Cure Happy fights the Akanbe solo. Her friends look on, but they are still zoned-out and don't recognize her. Happy fights not just to protect her friends, but to demonstrate .

Joker argues that the girls seem perfectly fine in the virtual world, but Happy insists that their true smiles are better. Joker rebuffs that the real world contains wasted effort, failure, and disappointment, while friends often let each other down or cause each other worries. He argues that by not trying, one avoids both effort and the consequences of failure. His arguments seem to resonate with the girls, who have suffered all of this in the past.

Cure Happy remembers all the lessons she learned from her friends, and says that while the suffered, they persevered, and she wants to face the future with her friends by her side. Her words begin move her friends, but not quickly enough, and the Akanbe blasts her multiple times.

Happy lies on the ground, and is unable to move as the Akanbe charges a finishing shot. Just then, a shadow is cast over Cure Happy. She looks up to see Candy, making a last ditch attempt to protect her. Knowing that Candy is unlikely to survive the blast, Happy pleads with Candy to run, but she refuses to abandon Happy. The Akanbe fires the blast.

Suddenly, a blast of fire deflects the incoming attack. Cure Sunny steps in, announcing that Happy's feelings reached her. The Akanbe attacks again, but his attacks are rebuffed by Peace, March and Beauty's attacks. Joker is aghast as the Cures insist that even when life is tough, they'll make it through with their friends. Combining their power, the Royal Clock glows and an enormous blast of light shatters the false world of the Sloth Ball.

Ep32

The Cures and mascots stand together in the sunset.

Joker uses Bad End ink to transform the yellow-nose Akanbe to a black-nosed Hyper Akanbe. The girls transform into Princess Form, and together with Candy they use the Royal Clock to perform Royal Rainbow Burst. It has the power even to destroy the Hyper Akanbe, and a they gain the new Decor.

Joker retreats. Pop explains that the power they just unleashed with Candy's help is the legendary Phoenix. He believes that they must fill the Decor Décor one more time, the Royale Queen will return. The girls watch the sunset, certain that as long as they have each other, they can face any challenge together.
