Differences Between the Anime and Manga[]
- Most of the Cures' one-shot different forms, such as their mermaid tails for swimming underwater in episode 30, do not appear in this manga.
- The bittersweet ending of the final episode where Candy and Pop say good-bye to the Pretty Cure does not appear in the manga.
- The more serious moments and fight scenes from the anime show up less often in the Smile Pretty Cure! manga adaptation, making it much more child-friendly overall.
