The manga adaption of Star☆Twinkle Pretty Cure has been serialized in Nakayoshi[1] from the March 2019 issue to the February 2020 issue. It was created by the Kamikita Twins.

It replaced the HUGtto! Pretty Cure manga and was followed up by the Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure manga in 2020.

Summary[]

The chapters are about the Cures traveling to different planets, which are all original to the manga and not shown in the season. Many characters, which are aliens from those planets, are also exclusively related to this manga. The Notraiders and Star Princesses are absent from these chapters.

The first batch of chapters was released in a Pretty Cure Collection tankobon in 2019, and the second volume was released March 2020. Both volumes came with a bonus chapter and were also released in limited edition versions, which came with a illustration card booklet of postcards that can be torn out of the booklet and used. It's the first release since the Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! manga to not include Pretty Cure Dream Story booklets.

Chapter 01
Hikaru introduces herself and recounts how she met Fuwa, Lala and Prunce. She then takes Lala to the observatory, but gets worried if Lala isn't liking her friendliness. But then Lala decides to launch the rocket into space with her as a gratitude for Hikaru's friendship, and both girls start becoming closer friends.

Chapter 02
Some time later, Elena and Madoka join Hikaru and Lala as Soleil and Selene respectively, and together they fight against beings that plan to terrorize the universe. When the four girls, along with Fuwa and Prunce, are having a picnic together, Hikaru notices a drowning baby and decides to swim quickly to rescue it. After the other girls drag Hikaru back onshore, they all find out that the baby is an alien of the species Kyupisaurus. Despite the baby Kyupisaurus almost immediately befriends the girls, the four aren't aware that the baby's parent has arrived to terrorize them...

Chapter 03
Hikaru, Elena and Madoka decides to help decorate Lala's rocket from the inside out. But after the renovation and the girls decide to celebrate, a lightning strikes and causes a power outage in the rocket. To pass the time for AI to perform self-repair, the girls, Fuwa and Prunce all gather around and watch films about their shared memories together. They all decide to go to space the next day, but then Prunce realizes they could've all just asked Fuwa to use her powers for help earlier.

Chapter 04
When traveling in space, the girls, Fuwa, Prunce and the rocket are pulled in by the gravity of Planet De Cami. The De Camians are friendly aliens, so Hikaru decides to spread cuteness with her souvenirs, only to unintentionally offend them due to their preferences for ugly things, which are actually what they consider as cute, and even take the team's rocket away. Lala believes that their values are too different from theirs, but Hikaru insists in becoming friends with them. Hikaru then comes up with the plan of combining ugly blobs onto the souvenirs, which actually helps clear the misunderstanding and return the rocket to the team. They all learn a lesson of people with different values and ideals can still become friends.

Chapter 05
On another space journey, the girls land on the Planet of Evolulians, where all these aliens have exceptional abilities and are all computer-planned and programmed. After witnessing such advanced self-planning technology, the girls begin to doubt their own goals and lose motivation in their daily activities at school. But after Sorami Ryoutarou lets them learn how to light fire with their own hands since he forgot to bring a lighter, the girls realize it is more worthwhile to do tasks and activities with their own efforts, and regain their motivations for their daily lives.

Chapter 06
Some time later, Yuni becomes part of the team as Cure Cosmo, but wants to keep to herself due to being self-conscious with her shapeshifting ability. The team then lands on Planet Anchen, where the Anchenians are seal-like aliens that barely change their physical appearances after they are born. But after watching the Anchenians run away upon seeing them simply changing their clothing, the other girls start understanding Yuni's sadness a bit more. Yuni then takes on her Mao persona and then proceeds to transform into different forms, only to frighten the Anchenians. But after the girls perform a star formation together, the Anchenians finally embrace the concept of transformation, and Yuni gains self acceptance for her own unique shapeshifting ability.

Chapter 6.5
It is summer vacation, and the girls receive an invitation from King Liebe of Planet Amour. Liebe hosts them a lavish feast, only to reveal that he intends to marry Lala, and feels encouraged to do so by Hikaru's words. It turns out that he visited Saman and fell in love with Lala when they were both children, and thought she promised to marry him because of her excuse of Saman's adult standard. At first, Lala feels pressured to comply to the arranged marriage, but after some pushing from her friends, she decides to break off from the ceremony. Due to her rejection, Planet Amour almost explodes and Liebe is about to sacrifice himself, but the Cures together tell him that his subjects still love him and together they restore the planet with their own love. In the end, Liebe has allowed love reforms on Planet Amour, and welcomes the girls to visit him anytime.

Chapter 07
The girls arrive at a resort planet during their summer vacation. During their time there, they find out that there is a legend about a continual cry, and the cry is actually from a sand fairy who wants to reunite with their parent. In the end, the parent and child sand fairies reunite and become a greater sandcastle creature, and the girls all have a fun time watching fireworks during the night.

Chapter 08
Madoka is told by her father to study aboard. Several days later, the girls prepare to watch the harvest moon, when in the bamboo forest they spot a young lady who looks exactly like Madoka. Suddenly, some servants from the Moon arrive, and they, who claim themselves to be the ones who look after Kaguya, the Princess of the Moon, try taking Madoka away. However, the real Princess Kaguya who met the girls earlier returns, and solves the misunderstanding. She also tells Madoka to start making decisions for herself, and they all watch the Earth together on the Moon.

Chapter 09
Fuwa has grown into a unicorn and becomes more confident with herself. Unfortunately, she suddenly gets sick and loses her flight ability, and she is soon diagnosed to have been afflicted with a medical condition called "space growing pains". Wanting to cure Fuwa's pain, the team arrives at the planet where the fruits of the Star Flowers grow. Thanks to the girls' encouragement, Fuwa manages to overcome all hurdles and reach the Star Flower's fruit, curing her condition. She has proven herself to have grown by also encouraging other children to be persistent and determined with getting their Star Flower fruits too.

Chapter 10
The girls arrive at Planet Punyo to participate in a soccer competition. However, they notice that the atmosphere from the opposing Team Gran and also the spectators are rather unfriendly, as these aliens only focus on winning. Elena believes that sports are supposed to be bonding and having fun together, so the girls demonstrate their good sportsmanship, and they become friends with Team Gran in the end.

Chapter 11
During Christmas, Hikaru remembers that she once met a yeti who saved her when she was lost in the forest as a child, and wants to fulfill her promise of meeting them again. The girls try searching for the yeti, but to no avail. Just as Hikaru is getting a bit upset about that, kesaran pasaran snowflakes begin to fall from the sky, and she realizes that the yeti has never forgotten about her.

Chapter 12
The girls partake in different New Year activities and also watch the constellations, as well as drawing their own ones.

Chapter 12.5
When Hikaru declares that she wants to use her imagination and understand the outer space better, she and her friends are transported to another dimension where there are different rooms. Just after she tells Lala she wants to be with her forward, an extraterrestrial being suddenly appears and takes a look at Hikaru's brain without permission, and goes on to erase her and Lala. But in the end with their friends' determination to save them and her remembering her childhood, and she and Lala both get saved. It turns out that the whole being was actually comprised of Planet Popsicle aliens who are desperate to save their planet from being destroyed the particles that Hikaru and Lala create through their physical contact, and in the end the girls have a great time with them on Planet Popsicle after the penguin aliens learn that they can embrace imagination to facilitate their planet.
