  • Laura learns how to swim with her human legs.
  • Elda takes the cup filled with Motivation Power from the cave on Minamino Island, and the Witch of Delays uses it to fill the Fool's Casket.

Synopsis

The girls are scuba diving and admiring the sea life. They resurface and Manatsu bonds with her dad. Meanwhile, Laura is on the beach observing everyone. Manatsu's dad offers to teach her if she would like to give it a try, but she assures them that its fine. She's unable to swim as a human after all.

The girls change into their training clothes, and because they only have a little bit of camp left they need to make the most of it. Manatsu brings up the Minamino Festival that will be occurring tonight, and she points out that it takes place on the nearby island. Legend says that if you make a wish on a stone and toss it into the water, your wish will come true.

Elda complains while cleaning outside the Witch of Delays base. She's just a child, she doesn't think its fair to spend all her time working during summer break. An eel comes along to deliver the mail, and Elda feels worse seeing the postcards from Chongire and Numeri. Butler comes along to tell her that she can go on vacation too, once she gets the cup they have been discussing. She complains but he refuses to go easy on her.

Manatsu, Asuka and Laura play volleyball with the children while Sango and Minori do Tai Chi with some elders. Then the girls enjoy a ride in the sea, pick vegetables and they eat curry with the items they gathered. The girls then return to their training, with Manatsu and Asuka being the first to reach the top of the very long, tall steps. Laura comes up not too long after, and they turn to find the exhausted Minori and Sango far behind. Manatsu is eager to keep going, and as they make their way back to her place, she assures the girls that the festival will take care of training their minds. This leaves them perplexed.

Back at her place, Manatsu admires the yukata her mom prepared for her. Sango helps Asuka, explaining that her mom helped her learn how to put one on, and Laura curiously observes her new attire since she's never worn one before. Laura then offers some of her brand new perfume from her new accessory and everyone compliments the refreshing soapy scent. It's then Manatsu's mom becomes nostalgic as she admires the sash on her yukata. The yukata used to belong to her, and she loves this festival very much because it was the first day she came to the island. Her wish came true too; she had a magical encounter. The girls ask to know more and she recalls that day, when she was in a boat on the water. She admired it and to her surprise, a handsome guy scuba diving suddenly surfaced. But she was more focused on the rare species of octopus that was on his shoulder. The girls are shocked -except for Manatsu- until she points out that she came here to do research on its sea life, since it has so many rare creatures. She is hopeful for the girls' wishes to come true as well.

Meanwhile, Elda has found the cup within the cave. The only problem is that it got stuck in all the rubble, and she struggles to free it. With a little more effort she manages to free the cup, and it begins to glow while she holds it.

That evening, the girls head to the festival grounds and they take pictures before boarding the boats. They locate Granny Tomi and she gives the girls a stone each, and to their surprise they discover that Laura's stone is pure white. Tomi explains that its the outer shell of the coral reef. It maintained its natural shape and didn't get effected by the waves, which is quite rare. The girls wonder what they should write, and they are surprised when Manatsu quickly finishes her wish; she wants to tropica-shine with everyone. Instead of a wish, she decided to write down a resolution instead. She wants to make her wish come true after all. The girls are approached by some of the other residents of the island and they tell Manatsu their own resolutions. Soon, Laura becomes inspired and she writes hers down- but she doesn't want to share it with the others. She throws it into the water so Manatsu can't see, which catches Elda's attention. She returns to the surface to realize they are having a festival, which irritates her again. She uses Laura's wish stone to transform it into a Zettai Yaraneeda.

The girls transform into Pretty Cure and head straight to the Yaraneeda as it saps away motivation from the festival-goers. La Mer realizes that this Yaraneeda is her wishing stone, and panics at the idea of letting anyone else see her wish. She encourages herself to make quick work of it, but becomes so distracted that the girls start to see parts of the writing on it. La Mer quickly dives in front of them to prevent them from getting closer, and she tells them about her wish being on its back, so they can't look. The girls are concerned and don't believe its possible, but she refuses to let them and hurriedly attacks it. They realize that this is her battle, so they let her handle it. La Mer goes on to return the stolen motivation power and uses Ocean Bubble Shower to purify it.

Following the one-sided battle, Elda brushes it off and leaves, eager to return home so that she can start her vacation. The girls return to normal and take their rocks out to sea to drop them into the water. Sango wants to take home with her Minamino Island's 'cute', Minori plans on perfecting her Tai Chi, Asuka will learn how to determine when vegetables are ripe. Laura thinks about what it is she wants, and Manatsu admits that while its sad that she shouldn't throw hers with them, she is sure it will come true. The girls admire the beautiful, star-filled sky and they realize that this was their tropica-shining mind moment Manatsu mentioned earlier. They are in high spirits until Manatsu recalls that she and Laura never went swimming. Laura suggests that they wait until they return home but Manatsu insists that it has to be tomorrow morning, before they leave. She gets closer to Laura and assures her that she'll learn how to do flutter kicks for sure this time. Laura asks how she found out about her wish, and she realizes Manatsu looked. Manatsu claims she saw it on accident, and the other girls say likewise, causing Laura to get embarrassed and yell at them.

The next day the girls return to the sea and encourage Laura while Manatsu guides her. She's very happy when she is able to kick her legs with enough force to help her swim and reunite with Manatsu, unaware that her wish stone is below them in the water.
