A Mermaid's Memories! Reclaim The Ocean Ring! (人魚の記憶！海のリングを取り戻せ！ Ningyo no Kioku! Umi no Ringu wo Torimodose!)? is the 37th episode of Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure and is the 864th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Manatsu and her friends head back to Grand Ocean to save the real Mermaid Queen. But then they discover a mysterious room filled with memories of mermaids who once interacted with humans. While there, Laura discovers a secret...

Synopsis
After being robbed of the Marine Heart Kuru Ring and falling into a vortex, the girls awaken in the Grand Ocean and decide to return to the castle to rescue the Mermaid Queen. They get lost in the castle and stumble upon a cave filled with glowing seashells which house memories taken from mermaids who visited the human world in the past. One such memory features the Legendary Pretty Cure from Manatsu's dream; another surprises Laura.
Meanwhile, Butler locks the Marine Ring safely away in a storage box. As the only item powerful enough to defeat the new Yaraneeda, he is confident that the Pretty Cures will no longer pose a threat to his plans.
The girls rescue the Mermaid Queen, with Manatsu introducing herself and, once again, asking the Queen's name, which she reveals to be Melusine Muses Mnemosyne. She reveals the Witch of Delay's goal: to fill the ancient Fool's Casket with Motivation Power, believed to grant immortality. Her underlings hope to use it to give themselves eternal freedom from their responsibilities.
Laura asks the Queen about the memory shell she found. It is one of Laura's own memories of meeting Manatsu by chance when she was younger. Manatsu promised to make her new friend a flower crown the next day, but Laura never returned. Manatsu never realized that she was a mermaid, and never got her name. From then on, she promised to ask the names of people as soon as they met, something she had done with all of the Cures and the Queen herself.
However, Laura has no memory of this meeting. The Queen admits that, in order to protect Grand Ocean, all mermaids who have contact with humans have their memories erased. When Laura returns to become Queen, even her memories of her friends will be erased.
The Tropical Heart Dresser reveals the octopus Chou Zettai Yaraneeda is terrorizing Aozora City. The Cures head there and transform to fight it, but without the Marine Ring they cannot defeat it. The girls insist that even so, they will never give up. Their resolve summons the Mermaid Ring from its resting place. They use it to defeat the Yaraneeda with their new attack, Marine Beat Dynamic.
After the battle, the Legendary Pretty Cure appears before the Mermaid Queen, pledging to awaken the heart of the Witch of Delays.
Later that night, Manatsu hands Laura a flower crown that she promised to make for her when she was a child. Laura worries about forgetting her friends and the times spent, together but Manatsu ensures that even if she does, she will be there to help her remember.

Trivia
- Cure Summer appears at the beginning of the ending.
- This episode's airdate coincides with Cure Papaya's birthday.
- The flower crown from this episode is made out of beach morning glories. Morning glories are flowers that bloom and die on the same day, and in the language of flowers they represent "longing", "affection" and "love". Their short lifespan reflects the fleeting nature of love, but also reminds us that love itself can be renewed each day.
- This correlates with the story of Laura and Manatsu's friendship as they had met each other in the past, but had since lost touch. However, their friendship with each other once again develops after meeting each other again, and becoming teammates has strengthened and renewed their bond.
- The first of the two flashbacks about Manatsu and Laura’s first meeting was animated by Mori Keisuke, rather than Aoyama Mitsuru, who animated the rest of the episode.
