Attack! The Strongest Yaraneeda! (衝撃！最強のヤラネーダ！ Shōgeki! Saikyō no Yaranēda!)? is the 42nd episode of Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure and is the 869th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Preparations for the "Tropical Graduation Festival" are underway throughout the school, and the Tropical Club is putting the finishing touches on their play. But then Manatsu is swallowed by one of the strongest Yaraneeda she has faced so far.

Synopsis
Manatsu and Laura head to school on a Saturday to prepare for Tropical Graduation Festival, aka Tro-Fest.
Student Council Disciplinary Head Masami chides them for being 18 seconds late, and new Student Council President Rika sends them to check on the progress of various groups. The Art Club is working on some huge dirt construction. the Astronomy Club is holding a "human planetarium", taking part in the festival despite having no graduating seniors. The Broadcast Committee has prepared a programme which shows that a large number of clubs are taking part in the festival.
Back at the Tropical Club, Minori is struggling to finish the script for the play. Laura reads the draft, a story about a visiting princess named Rosalia who meets the tropica-shining Nacchi and her friends. It concludes with them declaring to always be friends. Minori thinks the ending needs improvement, and Manatsu suggests Laura sing the "Song of Friendship" at the event.
Shiratori Yuriko meets up with Asuka, congratulating her on getting into Phoenix Academy. She thanks Asuka for her club's event, and regrets her original decision to oppose the club's formation when she was Student Council President. Now, Yuriko is excited for the event. Asuka tells her this feeling is what it means to be "tropica-shining".
The club practice the play at the aquarium. Laura flubs a line, and Minori advises her to keep going if it happens at the real event. Having tea and cakes together at sunset, Laura says she is happy to have had the chance to meet the girls. It's then that Manatsu realizes Laura is thinking wistfully about the future.
That night, Manatsu asks if Laura will return to visit after she becomes Queen of Grand Ocean. She promises that she will, despite mermaid law requiring that her memory of the human world be wiped. She pledges that when she becomes Queen, she will change that law.
At the mansion, the Witch of Delays pressures Butler to recover Motivation Power. The next morning, the girls are back at work preparing for Tro-Fest when Butler attacks. The girls transform to fight the Yaraneeda created from a remora fish. Laura recovers the Motivation Power and the Cures defeat it easily with Marine Beat Dynamic.
However, in spite of this, some of the students' Motivation Power doesn't return. The girls spot a second Yaraneeda: a blue whale, the largest sea creature. The remora fish wasn't the main Yaraneeda, but it just happened to be attached to the whale when it was transformed. The whale floats through the sky and draws a huge amount of Motivation Power from the entire city. Butler recalls how a similar attack occurred in the past when the Witch of Delays was known instead as the Witch of Destruction. Back then, the Legendary Pretty Cure was the one who defeated her. Butler recalls that he served the Witch even back then.
Laura tries to use the Mermaid Aqua Pot to regain the Motivation Power, but Butler zaps the Aqua Pot out of her hand, causing it to stop working. Cure Summer attempts to attack the whale Yaraneeda by herself but ends up getting sucked inside. The other Cures follow her and find that she has been defeated and de-transformed. The Yaraneeda then shoots the Cures out of its blowhole, but Manatsu is still inside. Butler and the Yaraneeda leave for the ocean, promising to return to a destroyed world.
Inside the whale, Manatsu hears the voice of the Legendary Pretty Cure and suddenly finds herself meeting her in the ruins of the town from the past.

- A remora, also called a suckerfish or sharksucker, is a tropical fish which commonly lives by clinging to a larger creature, such as a whale, shark, or ray.
- The name "remora" is Latin, meaning "delay".
