Takanashi Yasaharu (高梨康治)? is a music composer for many anime, including Pretty Cure. He succeeded Satō Naoki as the main composer for the franchise from Fresh Pretty Cure! to Smile Pretty Cure!, before being succeeded by Takaki Hiroshi. He also worked on the soundtracks of other shows such as Naruto: Shippuden and its sequel Boruto, Fairy Tail, Zombie Land Saga, Ultraman R/B, and Sailor Moon Crystal.
He is known for introducing hard rock and heavy metal sounds to the Pretty Cure series, which previously featured primarily orchestral sounds. For these reasons, fans have dubbed his style as "Cure Metal," and he adopted the name for his "CureMetalNite" live concerts featuring his music from the series.[1]
