Shiraishi Kiriko, Komachi Naomi & Kuwano Yumi[]
Shiraishi Kiriko (白石きりこ)?, Komachi Naomi (小町なおみ)? and Kuwano Yumi (桑野ゆみ)? are Manatsu and Sango's classmates. Kiriko and Naomi first appeared in episode 2, while Yumi first appeared in episode 3. The three girls are seen together a lot throughout the series.
Kiriko has dull magenta hair flaring out as it reaches her shoulders. Her eyes are golden brown. Her casual wear consists of a pale yellow short sleeved t-shirt, pink overalls, and a pair of yellow and white sneakers.
Naomi has shoulder length brown hair worn down with small amounts pulled into pigtails held by pink ribbons. She has gentle purple eyes. Her casual wear consists of a white blouse underneath a pastel yellow short sleeved sweater with dark green around the collar and sleeve hem. Her skirt is a green pleat with pink check pattern, and she wears teal sneakers with white socks that have a green stripe.
Yumi has black hair that reaches the top of her ears, and her eyes are blue. Her casual wear consists of a blue knee length dress with a white collar and stripe going down the middle. She also wears a brown belt, frilly white socks and black mary janes.
Kiriko is voiced by Hiromatsu Serika, Naomi is voiced by Matsumoto Sara, and Yumi is voiced by Uchimura Fumiko.
Takatsuki Haruna, Harada Mifuyu, Kirishima Akiho & Tomono Natsuo[]
Takatsuki Haruna (高月春奈)?, Harada Mifuyu (原田美冬)?, Kirishima Akiho (桐島秋穂)? & Tomono Natsuo (友野夏緒)? first appeared in episode 6. They are graduates of Aozora Middle School. They were looking for a penguin statue since it held a treasure they left inside of it ten years ago. Since the Tropical Club had removed it from their club room, the four graduates and the club went to various recycle shops until they eventually found it, where it was revealed that the treasure was a picture of the four graduates.
Haruna has short, dull brown hair and brown eyes; Mifuyu has indigo hair worn in a side ponytail; Akiho has dull green hair and green eyes; and Natsuo has chest-length brown hair and dark blue eyes.
Yamabe Yuna[]
Yamabe Yuna (山辺ゆな)? first appeared in episode 9. She is a new popular actress. However, she lacks confidence acting in roles that are not similar to who she is. So when she is cast as a bully, she struggles to comprehend how to come across as mean. But with the Tropical Club's help, she manages to figure it out and put on a great performance when filming day comes around.
Yuna has light brown hair that reaches her shoulders, with light brown eyes. Her casual wear consists of a white short sleeved t-shirt, pale blue denim jeans and red sneakers.
She is voiced by Takahashi Minami.
Kakuta Masami[]
Kakuta Masami (角田正美)? first appeared in episode 12. She is the president of the Disciplinary Committee and is very strict about following the rules. When rumors about a mermaid spreads around the school, Masami takes it upon herself to search every single club room, and gets increasingly suspicious about the Tropical Club when they get annoyed because of her actions. After taking the Mermaid Aqua Pot, she sees someone on a skateboard and follows it, where she comes across Laura in the Disciplinary Committee room. After speaking to Laura, she notices the length of Laura's skirt but Laura bolts before Masami could do anything. The next day, she confronts the Tropical Club again, where she then sees Kururun on a skateboard but no one believes her.
She later reappears in episode 24, as a member of Shiratori Yuriko's team against the Tropical Club, but she and her teammates end up losing despite their initial advantage against the Tropical Club.
In episode 30, she is a candidate in the student council president election, but ends up losing to Ichijo Rika by a huge margin.
In episode 42, she scolds Manatsu and Laura for being late before being told to let go by Rika.
She is shocked to learn that Laura is a real mermaid in the last episode.
Masami has short black hair tucked behind her ears, and her eyes are brown. She is seen wearing her Aozora Middle School uniform.
She is voiced by Ōtsubo Yuka.
Komori Izumi & Hayashida Yukie[]
Komori Izumi (小森いずみ)? and Hayashida Yukie (林田ゆきえ)? first appeared in episode 13. They are the only members of the Broadcasting Club and have noticed the lack of interest in their shows. So when Izumi is ill after eating a Jumbo Parfait, the Tropical Club decides to fill in as the hosts. Yukie watches as the girls go off script, but is satisfied when Laura steps in and even sings a song for the school. Thanks to Laura, the interest in their shows has shot up to the point of Izumi and Yukie wanting to invite Laura on their shows again.
Izumi and Yukie reappear in episode 28, with Izumi telling Laura about what she knew about Minori, who is her former classmate, and is happy when she sees how Minori gains the courage to interact with others during the cultural festival.
Izumi's hair is brown and tied back into a low ponytail, and her eye color is grey. Yukie's hair is dull green and comes up to her neck, and her eye color is brown.
Izumi is voiced by Sugiyama Riho, while Yukie is voiced by Kobashi Satomi.
Ichinose Narumi[]
Ichinose Narumi (一之瀬なるみ)? is Ichinose Minori's mother. She appeared in episode 15, when she checks to see if Minori is okay, and recounts the time Minori had eaten too many croquettes at once as a child. She is unaware that Minori has switched bodies with Laura the whole time.
Narumi is a woman with short dark yellow hair, and cerulean blue eyes paired with glasses, much like her daughter. However, compared to Minori's hairstyle, her hair's length is much shorter.
Narumi is voiced by Takahashi Mikako.
Mizushima Eiko[]
Mizushima Eiko (水島泳子)? first appeared in episode 18. She is the director of the swimming club at Aozora Middle School. When Laura declares herself as the queen of swimming, Eiko asks her to try out for the swimming club. But when Laura dives into the pool and almost drowns, Eiko apologizes for misunderstanding her and walks away from the annoyed girl.
Eiko has short black hair tucked behind her ears, and her eye color is black. She is seen wearing her Aozora Middle School uniform.
She is voiced by Lynn.
Nakagawa Shiori[]
Nakagawa Shiori (仲川詩織)? first appeared in episode 26. She is a first year student at Aozora Middle School looking to create an Astronomy Club, however no one is willing to join. But with the help of the Tropical Club, who gathers the whole school together to watch the rare meteor shower, people become interested in Shiori's club.
Shiori has short navy blue hair with small amounts pulled into small pigtails held by yellow stars. Her eyes are navy blue. She is seen wearing the school uniform.
Shiori is voiced by Amano Satomi.
Takizawa Haruya[]
Takizawa Haruya (滝沢晴瑠也)? is Takizawa Asuka and her brother's father. He is well-known as the Blazing Good Weather Man, being a passionate drummer who is determined to perform a ritual that will clear the sky from bad weathers. He first appeared in episode 26, performing the ritual to clear the sky for the Astronomy Club. According to the Principal, he used to be a student at Aozora Middle School, and one time he cleared the sky simply by praying.
In episode 38, he is seen in Asuka's flashback, asking about her plans for choosing a high school. In episode 45, he has his motivation stolen, but later regains it in the following episode.
Haruya is a lean man with dark maroon hair that curls beneath his ears, and reddish brown eyes.
Haruya is voiced by Kato Masayuki.
Ichijo Rika[]
Ichijo Rika (一条里香)? first appeared in episode 30. She initially served as Shiratori Yuriko's secretary and the vice president of the student council, before taking over Yuriko's president position.
Rika has short almond brown hair with curled tips, and also black eyes.
Rika is voiced by Noguchi Ruriko.
