Viva! Spark! Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure (Viva！Spark！トロピカル～ジュ！プリキュア)^? is the opening theme for the Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure series, sung by Machico. The song debuted in episode 1 on February 28^th, 2021. A version of the song sung by the Tropical Club can be found in the Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure vocal album and it is called Viva! Spark! Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure ~Tropical Club Ver.~ (Viva！Spark！トロピカル～ジュ！プリキュア～トロピカる部Ver.～)^?. It was used as the opening for episode 33.

Starting from episode 19, the song is not only sung by Machico, but the Tropical Club members also sing alongside her. This version is called Viva! Spark! Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure with Tropical Club (Viva！Spark！トロピカル～ジュ！プリキュアwithトロピカる部)^?.

Sequence

The opening begins with a shot of a sunny day on what appears to be a beach. It then pans down to show Minori, Sango, Asuka, and Manatsu appearing as they start to shake and dance. After they jump up, the Mermaid Aqua Pot appears with Laura on the screen, also dancing. Then it goes to a shot of some middle school students jumping. Manatsu then starts to run in front of them with the other three girls passing her up and Laura jumping on her back. The group runs toward the ocean. This is followed by a shot of everyone leaping into the air. Then it goes to the four girls dancing on the beach while Laura breaches into the ocean behind them. After splashing a couple times, Laura then dives underwater and dances a little along with Kururun and the Mermaid Queen, with the logo appearing right after.

The logo bounces away to reveal Manatsu, Sango, and Minori running in their school uniforms, with Asuka joining them a little later and Laura holding on to Manatsu. Then it shows Sango holding up a couple of outfits, Minori leafing through a book while taking notes, Asuka lifting weights, and finally Manatsu and Laura playing a game of patty cake. The next scene shows Sango with an ice cream cone, but the scoop falls off and lands on top of Minori's ice cream, and then her scoops do the same and lands on Asuka's, and the same thing also happens to her, landing on Manatsu's cone, with Laura putting hers on top, showing a tall mountain of ice cream. Next, it shows Manatsu, Sango, and Minori wheeling a giant cart of fruit with Laura, and Kururun sitting on top of it, while Asuka rides on her scooter. Then it shows the students, some of the girls' parents, more teachers and students, and the villains dancing. After that, the four girls group up and lift up their hands revealing their Heart Kuru Rings, which glow. They then hold up their Tropical Pacts and one of them opens up, first showing Summer's reflection with a spark coming from her lips, then Coral's with a spark coming from her cheeks, then Papaya's with a spark coming from her eyelashes, and finally Flamingo's. Next, Chongire, Butler, and the other villain generals stand in front of the Witch of Delays.

The Cures then jump into the air and start to battle the villains. First, Chongire fires some rocks at Summer, which she jumps on and shatters. Then Elda attacks and Coral appears to try and block the attack. Then Papaya appears and fires some laser beams from her eyes. After that, Numeri attacks as Flamingo breaks more rocks. The Cures then regroup and hold up their Heart Rouge Rods, which produce yellow hears that merge to form a giant yellow bird that fires a blast that sends the generals away followed by a stream of pink hearts. Then the girls, back as civilians, return to the beach and dance while Laura does the same in the background. They then all stop and run up close and try to pose, but Laura pops up into the frame. They finally do their last pose while Kururun quickly appears right at the end.

Starting from episode 32, the opening was updated to include Laura as a human during the school uniform scene and right at the end. In addition to that, Cure La Mer appears to kick the villains after the other four Cures launch their attack. In episode 33, another change was made with Cure La Mer replacing the scene where the villains were standing in front of the Witch of Delays.

Trivia

Daichi Akitaro revealed several things about the song that he was responsible for:
- He was hospitalized when he got the offer, and had trouble working with fellow staff members due to COVID restrictions.
- Hawaii was an inspiration for the opening, and was very excited to have the girls dance "tropically".
- He looked at opening sequences of different anime, namely Sexy Commando Gaiden, Kodocha, and Grrl Power for inspiration of some of the scenes in this theme song.
- Tsuchida Yutaka directed him to animate Minori with a poker face even when she is dancing with the other girls.
- The reason the villains were not severely damaged when the Cures hit them with an attack is because the staff members didn't want to animate Elda getting hurt.
- The villains participate in the dance sequence because he thought they looked like they usually get along with each other.
