Memories In The Snow (ユキの中の思い出 Yuki no Naka no Omoide)? is the 10th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 978th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary[]
Mayu has come up with ideas for new products at Pretty Holic, but can't decide which one to use. Watching Komugi and Iroha she remembers when she first met Yuki.

Synopsis[]
At Pretty Holic, Mayu is glad that they're getting more customers and Sumire suggests they should design a new product. She wants something that would excite their regular customers and asks Mayu if she could come up with any ideas. Mayu is excited that her mother has allowed her to create something for the store and starts thinking of what to design.
Mayu works on her designs while in class to the point where she gets distracted when the teacher calls on her to answer a question. After Iroha gets her attention, Mayu panics while attempting to answer when Komugi looks through the drawings in Mayu's notebook. Mayu tries to get her to stop and Kiyoshi scolds the two for causing trouble. During lunch break, Komugi apologizes and Mayu shows them what she's been working on. Komugi and Iroha both find all of her designs to be cute and soon her other classmates join in at admiring them, which makes Mayu happy.
Later that day, Mayu shows the designs to Sumire, but she can't decide which one she would like to use. She then asks Mayu to decide which one would mean the most to her, something that would make anyone who uses it smile. Mayu looks through the drawings again, but she has difficulty deciding as well. Then, she shows them to Yuki so she could help her decide, but the cat ignores her, leading her to start over from scratch. Unfortunately, she can't come up with anything else. Meanwhile, Satoru overhears a couple of boys mentioning a strange black egg and he tries to ask them about it.
Mayu then goes for a walk so she could regain her inspiration while the others try to find the Garugaru egg before it can hatch. Komugi thinks she's found it, but it turns out to be a soccer ball and she gets completely covered in mud. Daifuku senses that Mayu is nearby and she soon joins them. As Iroha cleans Komugi, Mayu is reminded of the first time she met Yuki. After Iroha covers up how Komugi could talk again, Mayu starts telling them how it happened.
When she was in the fourth grade, Mayu traveled to a mountain village with her father so he could take some pictures. While looking around an abandoned house, Mayu found a cat covered in dirt. She accidentally disturbed the cat, who walked back under the house for warmth. Mayu followed it, but Takayuki told her not to touch the stray cat, and she reluctantly agreed. Later, Mayu learned that the cat was most likely abandoned and it didn't have a family, and also that it doesn't like being around people. Despite this, Mayu went looking for it under the house again, but it wasn't there. Suddenly, Mayu heard and meow and noticed the cat had come back outside. She attempted to befriend the cat by complimenting her meow and promising not to touch her, but she walked back under the house.
Even so, Mayu would go check on the cat every day and she slowly starts warming up to Mayu. When it snowed one day, Mayu removed one of her mittens so the cat could see the giant snowflakes, and another day she gave the cat her beanie to keep her warm. A massive blizzard prevented Mayu from visiting the cat once, but she pulled Mayu's beanie in to keep herself safe. When it came time for Mayu to leave, she visited the cat one more time and told her how much she wanted to tell her about her town and her family. The cat retreated under the house, but Mayu said goodbye one more time.
Just as Mayu was about to leave, the cat came to give Mayu her beanie back. Everyone was surprised that the cat came for Mayu, but she knew she couldn't take her home. Still, she started to cry because she wanted to be with the cat even if she couldn't touch it or if she would ignore her. Mayu wished that they could be together, and hearing that made the cat approach Mayu, now feeling the same way she did, and the two ran towards each other. Back home, Mayu gave the cat a really good bath and promised her parents she will take good care of her. After the bath, is it revealed that the cat's fur was actually white as the snow, so Mayu named her "Yuki". She also gave Yuki a collar with a snowflake-shaped charm she made and it made her very happy.
After Mayu finishes telling her story, Iroha wishes she would have seen Yuki's smile. This suddenly gives Mayu an idea and she leaves for home after thanking Iroha. Meanwhile, another Garugaru egg near a bridge hatches and the group starts looking for it. While Mayu starts working on her newest idea, the Garugaru starts to attack. Satoru recognizes it as a raccoon and the Cures transform in hopes of stopping it before it can go into town.
Wonderful orders the Garugaru to sit, but it won't listen. Friendy tries to figure out how to stop it when she finds a can of paint. She has the Garugaru stick one of its finger in the can to get it covered in yellow paint, thinking it will try to wash it off in the river. However, this just angers it even more. Satoru tells Friendy that raccoons don't really like to wash and are only just trying to catch fish when it looks like they're washing their paws. The Garugaru enters the city and starts destroying things, while Yuki goes to the window and watches the fight from afar while Mayu continues to work.
Friendy attempts to summon a Ribbon Barrier, but the Garugaru easily destroys it. Just when it looks like they're out of options, Satoru tells Friendy to use Ribbon Barrier again. The Garugaru destroys it again, but Wonderful grabs on to the other end of it and throws it up. With the Garugaru distracted, the Cures use Friend Liberale to purify it and turn it back into a Niko Raccoon, which they send back to the Niko Garden.
Meanwhile, Mayu has finally finished designing the item and she shows Yuki to see if she likes it, and she does. The product is made, and Komugi and Iroha love it, while the other customers praise its design. Sumire thanks Mayu for creating it, and she's glad that everyone likes it. Yuki then walks in with a new charm on her collar and Mayu picks her up, saying that she wants to see her smile the most.
