Synopsis[]

The night after the Cures's previous battle, Niko and Mey Mey visit the Mirror Stone. Niko explains she put the stone there, which turns out to be a piece of the Niko Diamond, a long time ago. Her horn glows, which also causes the Mirror Stone to do the same, and says it appeared so the animals' wish for them to be friends with humans would be granted. However, some selfish humans took advantage of its power and chased the animals away. Niko knows that she has to quell the wolves' anger somehow, and Mey Mey adds that the Pretty Cure can help. Niko didn't know that the Niko Diamond would grant such power, but if the Cures can't calm the wolves down, she'll have no choice but to take back their powers and fight Gaou herself. Mey Mey starts to have doubts about whether or not it's a good idea.

At Gaou's hideout, he learns about the Pretty Cures and how easily they were defeated, but he can't let his guard down now that Niko's back. He orders his companions to take the Cures down while the Gaogaons continue to wreak havoc on Animal Town, destroying property and forcing animals to retreat. Everyone is urged to stay indoors while Iroha's parents prepare for any injured animals to be brought in. Tsuyoshi suggests they should eat to gather their strength, but Iroha is too depressed to eat and goes to her room.

At Mayu's house, Yuki watches the destruction from the window while Mayu hides under her blanket. Seeing Iroha so upset about being rebuked by the wolves has left her feeling helpless. Just then, she hears Sumire singing and leaves her room to see her mother baking cookies for the customers. Mayu doesn't think anyone will come today, but Sumire figures there may be some who'll need a little comfort if they're scared.

Meanwhile, Satoru is doing some research on the wolves and the Gaogaons, but can't figure out how to deal with them. He starts to wonder if he'll ever be of help for the Cures again when Daifuku lets him know that he wants to be let out. Once Satoru does that, Daifuku hops on top of his computer chair as if to encourage Satoru to continue his research. Satoru then regains his resolve and resumes working. Meanwhile, Torame and Zakuro argue over who should confront the Cures. After a game of rock-paper-scissors, Torame wins and heads into Animal Town, leaving an upset Zakuro behind.

In her room, Iroha remembers the last battle and how she failed to befriend the wolves. As she sulks, Komugi enters and wants to go on a walk, but they can't because they have to stay inside. Komugi senses how sad Iroha is and turns into her human form to hug her. She also talks about how wonderful her world has gotten by meeting and becoming friends with so many other people and animals. Komugi then reminds Iroha how aggressive she acted before Iroha found her, but had come to like her as time passed, and that she wants to be friends with the wolves as well. Iroha realizes that Komugi is right and agrees to help her.

Then, Iroha receives a phone call from Satoru and he tells her he just learned that one of the wolves is heading to town, meaning the Gaogaon could be nearby. Though Satoru's upset that he doesn't have much on them, Iroha thanks him for all his help and decides to go and talk to the wolf. As Torame howls to get the Gaogaons' attention, Mayu and Yuki overhear it. Yuki then gives Mayu some encouragement, reminding her how she rescued her and how she wants to help the wolves despite her fear. Yuki turns into human form and says she'll always be with Mayu, and her fears start to fade as the two get close. Yuki also mentions that they're not the only Cures and Mayu realizes what she means.

Back in Animal Town, Torame orders the Gaogaons to continue their assault when Komugi and Iroha arrive to confront him. They're soon joined by the others and are about to go in when Yuki reminds them how they fought separately the last time and lost, so maybe they'll have a chance if they attack the Gaogaons together. The others love the idea and transform together for the very first time. Unfortunately, the Gaogaons are still too strong and easily defeat the Cures. While Torame mocks how weak they are, Niko decides they're unable to tame the wolves' anger and prepares to take their powers away.

Suddenly, Mey Mey tells Niko to stop, and that the Cures are the ones who have been rescuing the Niko Animals from being Garugarus. As this happens, the Cures stand up and call upon several of the Kirarin Animals - Bear, Fawn, Lion, and Swan respectively - to lend them their powers. With them, they become more evenly matched against the Gaogaons and manage to hold them off. Niko witnesses them using the Kirarin Animal's powers and Mey Mey begs Niko to believe in the Cures.

The Cures' powers wear off though and the Gaogaon corner them again. Torame asks them if they've reached the limit yet, but Friendy explains that even though she doesn't know much, she still wants to talk to and become friends with the wolves. Torame rejects her again, but Nyammy says they won't know unless they try. The Cures know that the people of Animal Town love animals and are working hard every day to help love and care for each other. Then, they all join hands and declare they will try their best to become friends with the wolves as it is their "wonderful".

Niko then realizes they share the same goal and the diamond on her tiara glows, sending her and the Cures to another dimension. After affirming their shared hopes of making all animals smile, Niko grants them a new power: the Diamond Ribbon Castle. With this new power, the Cures change into their Diamond Ribbon Style forms and perform their newest attack, Eternal Kizuna Shower, and finally purify the Gaogaon, turning it back into a Niko Monkey. Torame is shocked at the Cures' new powers while Wonderful and Friendy let him know they would like to meet Gaou someday to talk to him. Torame admires their persistence and agrees to it before retreating.

Nyammy and Lillian send the Niko Monkey back to Niko Garden and Iroha thanks Niko for lending her powers to them. Niko also becomes intrigued by the word "Wonderful". Meanwhile, Mey Mey feels like a failure for asking Niko not to do something, but she encourages him by saying she has her faults as well and he should keep trying like she plans on doing. That night, Niko introduces herself to Iroha's parents and they agree to have her stay with them while continuing her work.
